Responses and reactions have arrived from Bidar (Project India), and although we are many many miles apart it feels as if we were with them as they delightfully received and opened their colorful sweaters! Merill, the director of the Belaku home organized a 'gift-giving' ceremony, and the kids were presented their gifts one by one. We have received individual cursive written hand decorated letters back from each child, expressing their gratitude and happiness! Along with these letters we also have some pictures which are included below. I am beyond overjoyed that our first project has touched so many children so far away, and I cannot wait to get started on our next Bidar project in 2018.
